Lets Get Consistent
The secret to lowering BP with Movement is Consistency
Titus Lucretius Carus, the Roman poet and philosopher rightly observed that “constant dripping hollows the stone“. The same is true for movement and its relationship to blood pressure. You don’t need a roaring river of activity to hollow what seems like a stone of recalcitrant high blood pressure. A constant drip of movement can help effectively lower blood pressure.
Remember, the American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes of moderate activity per week. That’s only 21.5 minutes per day! Even 5-10 minutes per day can be helpful, if you’re consistent in your application of effort.
