Your HBP Risk Increases With Age!

Men Are More At Risk At Younger Ages While Women Are More AT Risk With Older Age

The number of people with high blood pressure generally increases with age. 7.3% of men and women age 18-39 years compared to 65% of men and women over 60 years had HBP. More men under the age of 55 had HBP, while more women over 65 had HBP. Both men and women in the age category of 55-64 years had the same HPB rate of 52%. The combination of age and gender appear to influence HBP rates no matter what other characteristics are studied.
